Dead Man's Cell Phone
Vanderbilt University Theatre, 2012
Sarah Ruhl’s play is about a woman who answers the cell phone of a dead man, and then her assumption of parts of his life. The set was designed with five wagon/flat units which were reconfigured to create the various locations in the play. Lighting helped to facilitate this fluid reworking of elements onstage.
